The Unusual Suspect: An afternoon on rare diseases at the Royal Society of Medicine on Wednesday 11th May from 1300-1800. £10 for non-members, £5 for members. All medical students welcome.

This is our third symposium, the first was held by Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2013 and the second was held at the Royal Society of Medicine in 2014.

This meeting aims to:

• Provide you with an understanding of the genetic basis of rare diseases and appreciate how studying these disorders can inform about common, complex diseases.

• Explore the needs of individuals affected by rare diseases.

If you are interested in forming a society at your Medical School, please do get in touch before the symposium so we can arrange a time to talk with you on the day: l.curran@students4rarediseases.org.uk OR 01494 764 788.
